DESCRIPTION:
My personal favorite in our "Other
Vintage Dolls" is this 19" Raving Beauty Doll
by: Artisan Novelty Co. in the early 1950's
(1953-1955). This doll (unmarked) is easily
recognized by the separation between the legs as can be
seen above. The manufacturer wanted to make
it easier for the little girls who owned them to be able
to dress them. We have had for quite a while as we
wanted to make her perfect for you. We spent a
great deal of money and time to get her to this point
because she was in such excellent condition to begin
with.
Because we wanted her to look perfect,
we took her Mohair wig off as you can see in the photos
and it will be included with her along with her original
outfit which we had Lois with "Toni Wear" make
for us. Lois is the best that we have seen online
for dolls such as this one and we are proud that she
does make so many of our doll's clothing and our
"Repair" customer's doll's clothing.
Thank you again Lois.
We also want to make a special notice to
a lady on the Internet who is so very special to us and
who is the ONLY one we know of that makes these replica
leather shoes and the socks for our dolls and for so
many others across the years. When I contacted her last,
she had 60 pairs to make. But that does not keep
her from filling the orders, she always amazes me. Her
name is Michele and you might know her already because
she is the expert Doll Doctor at "This
Old Doll". These little shoes come with
an adorable shoe box which is also included. Thank
you Michele.
We purchase our wigs mostly from Monique
and this one is extra gorgeous. We are including
the box and the cleaning instructions with the
doll. Her body is all original and we have
restrung her arms and head with our very strong Elastic
Cord Tubing which we also purchase from: "This
Old Doll". This doll had a few spots on her hands
that the original paint had come off, so we painted both
hands and they match the original paint pretty
well. We have the Air Brush machine but did not
want to paint the entire body because we do like leaving
more of the original on our dolls when possible.
You can see how
good she looks in her Display Vinyl Case. I am
impressed with these cases. We are also including
the smaller Kaiser doll stand as well for you just in
case you prefer that more. To appreciate the real
beauty of this doll one needs to view her in
person. She is an absolute "Knock Out"
looking doll, and so graceful. These dolls had a
large wardrobe made by "California Original"
By: Michelle.
