DESCRIPTION:
Nancy
Lee and Nanette 17" dolls are valued
between $400.00 $500.00. One
sold in 2001 with tag and box for $700.00
What
a pleasure it was to have had the
opportunity to restore this gorgeous
"Baby Boomer" doll by R & B
named" "Nancy Lee" Or
"Nanette". Except for her
little original dress
that is missing connections in the back and a tiny
tear at the waist in the front, She came to us pretty perfect.

Her synthetic hair is wonderful and was still set in
it's original hair-do. All we did was
clean it lightly and replace the hair-pins
with new doll hair-pins. We are
including the original pins with this sale.
Here is her BEFORE PHOTO:
Dress
Shows to be pink in this photo (?) hum?

Her
plastic body is perfect. She has the slight
indication on her knees of blushing. Her
eyebrows and lower eye lashes are faint but
you can still see them in the real. No cracks, nothing
missing. Gorgeous little
doll from head to cute little toes. She is
on a new doll stand by Kaiser which is also
included in this sale along with all of her
original clothing and replica
clothing. Our seamstress is Lois at: toniwear@aol.com.
Great seamstress.
We
even used our little machine to polish her
eyes (no eye repair was needed) to bring
back a little sparkle, I think we succeeded
a tiny bit too. Gorgeous full
eyelashes this beauty has, I am
jealous.
The
photos, which are many, that we provide for
you seem to tell it all. We did
totally re-string her with our Elastic
Cord Tubing. No loose parts on
this doll.
This
doll's shoes and socks are identical to
another doll this size with an original
dress on in another ad I recently saw as I
have seen that same dress also in a doll
book. The Arranbee (R & B) Company
did import their doll and doll parts early
on. The shoes were made in Taiwan. Although
we have her photographed in lace socks with
her original shoes, she will go to her new
owner in the same dress but we have put her
original socks back on her and will include
the lace socks in the sale.
