RESTORED (Click On The Images To Enlarge)
We went to the ultimate  of restoration on this 1950's Saucy Walkers.  Dr. Hubby sealed the seam split and the crack and there is not trace of either one. She has been Air Brushed with our satin special Saucy Blended paint.  There is no way she could be more beautiful. This doll reveals a brand new doll and walks like a dream.

Took a while but her hair is finally untangled and preparing for her shampoo, then a ton of curlers to dry for a full week.  Face cleaned. Then we repair the eyes and install the preventative platforms to prevent rolling and sinking of the eyes.  You may not be aware of this...Ideal Toy Corp. used these heads with this hairstyle on the early issue of the Posie dolls BEFORE they came up with the Posi vinyl faces.  Someone in the factory instead put this head on the Saucy Walker straight legged body.

You have a rare doll here.

See ours below with bendable knees.

Here to the left is your baby who's eyes have been repaired and cleaned and who have many many curlers to make little ringlets like she had when new.  Her hair should keep the curls for a long while if she is in display only.  If she is handled a lot they could fall loose again after a while and believe me, curling a wildly Factory made Saucy Saran wig is no picnic.  We let the curlers stay in for a week or more to stay put longer.  We noticed that if they are taken out earlier, they fall loose faster.  Her hair and hair bow will be sprayed when styled. We stiffen all bows for display before they leave here. We will freshen her shadow (as it has been worn off over the years) a tiny bit later and her lips will be shined.  Her original dress came out bright and fresh but we do not do mending as you know ...No biggy because she will be wearing the new dress you sent with her.
11-09-09 (Click On The Photos To Enlarge Them)  Here she is with her new eye shadow and new cheek blushing.  No more bad scratches! Photos always show the cheeks brighter than they are in the real. The third photo is now her newly Air Brushed body.  Notice no cracks on her little bottom now?  Her knees and the back of her hands have been newly blushed as well.  "Okay Mommie, when I am all dry in a week you will see me all finished...I will be back home soon!!"
